Doing a weekly reset, reflection, and setting a key goal for the week is like establishing an implementation intention for the important aspects of your life. They create an intention to dedicate yourself to specific actions. By doing so, you increase the likelihood of accomplishing meaningful work, rather than constantly reacting to whatever comes your way. It’s much easier to respond to immediate demands, instead of prioritizing what truly matters (and propels you forward). When you’re constantly reacting, you relinquish control over your future, which can be quite unsettling.
