a whole area of research of making computers that reflective and it just died out um there were some like kind of flaws with the technology but it mainly died out because it wasn’t as sexy you you couldn’t make with a reflective screen as as as beautiful screen as admissive uh and so I kind of was getting really curious about this because I was like wait a minute what if this was just thrown in the trash not because it was bad but because once again it was just a different mismatched value system um what if this actually much better solved the problems of evolutionary mismatch what if this actually was a healthier substrate for making computers and I don’t value sexiness as much as I Value Health I don’t value saturated colors as much as I M like I value my cognitive sovereignty and actually being able to own my own attention and not be addicted (View Highlight)
