Cal explains Control through “multi-scale planning,” which is a fancy way of saying that plans are made on a quarterly (or semesterly), weekly, and daily basis. This is how we are able to decide what we do with our time in order to do the things that are most important to us. I’ve personally created a schedule for myself in which I only study between 7 am and 5 pm, Sunday through Friday. This allows me to spend the rest of my time doing other things that are important to me. That means early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays are off limits to studying. (This is known as Time Blocking. How exactly I do this can be explained in a future article as well). (View Highlight)review
