• In 2013 my wife and I had just had our first child. We had a midwife and had a great experience. That group was so thorough and amazing throughout the entire process and I thought it was interesting how all of their documentation was done on paper. I later learned that their use of paper was likely intentional because EHRs are not well optimized for pregnancy. So I started to look at how we can bring paper like efficiency to a digital record. With the help of many OBs and ACOG we designed what a modern digital equivalent of that experience would look like.
