I have not successfully hidden the dock in my time with MacOS. I’ve attempted it no less than 3 times, and each time I feel myself missing out and wondering what is going on in the dock. Am I missing out on a key notification from Slack. As I attempt to transition into a more leadership role, I should be focused on the future and not puppeteered around by the bell noise and red badge of the dock. I should set an intention for the day and unless a fire is raging try to stick to it.
TinkerTool’s ability to let me make the dock flash immediately on hover of the bottom of the screen is excellent. H/T to Snazzy Labs for the recommendation.
